Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was born in Portland,
Maine, to Janice (Cooke), an accountant and William Kendrick, a teacher.
Michael Cooke Kendrick is her older brother, and has also been an actor. She is
of English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her performance in the role of
"Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was
nominated for an Tony Award (second youngest ever) in addition to the Drama
Desk Award, and a Fany Award (best actress featured in the musical). Her
