Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush, an American pop boy group
was founded in the year 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt, James
Maslow and Logan Henderson. They signed their first contract with Nick Records
in 2009 before switching to Columbia Records. They appeared on Nickelodeon's
television show, Big Time Rush. The series aired from November 28, 2009 through
July 25 2013. The pilot episode featured the group’s debut promo single,
"Big Time Rush". The group recorded three albums, BTR in 2010,
Elevate , and 24/Seven 2013. The group in 2014 took an indefinite break that
ran until 2021. They then returned to live shows and then released "Call
It Like I See The Album". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to an album
deal in 2009, along with its tv show, Big Time Rush. In the following year,
Nickelodeon partnered with Columbia/Epic Label Group to produce the show and
add original music that was used in the show. For the series, their debut
single, "Big Time Rush" was released on November 29, 2009. The song
was officially released on Nickelodeon the song first aired in the U.S.
November 2009 and was later aired worldwide. The show premiered in a special
preview of the series. The theme is currently the show's main theme. The show
also saw release of promotional singles, including "City is Ours" and
"Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush remixed "Famous" by Play.
The song was released on iTunes on June 29th in 2010. Another song,
"Halfway There", was released to iTunes on April 27, 2010 following
its debut on the series. It soon became the band's first single to be charted
on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 93 due to sales on digital. On
September 21 in 2010, Big Time Rush released second single "Till I Forget
About You" to celebrate the release of their debut album. The album, which
is titled BTR and released on October 11 on the 11th of October, the 11th of
October, 2010. It debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. It sold 67,000
copies within its first week.
