Aisha Jamila Hinds is a popular American actor. Her fame is due to the roles she played in television series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has proven her versatility as an actress, delivering remarkable performances in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. The performance she made in the biographical film All the Way as the woman's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hammer was a major draw for the attention of the public. Hind was also recognized for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period drama series Underground.
